Hand-painted murals turn a blank wall into something people stop and look at. A mural is artwork painted directly on a wall, ceiling, or other large surface, and the best ones work with the building around them. From our shop in Edgewater, Maryland, we travel to paint on brick buildings, store interiors, and parking garages. For a broader history, see this overview of wall painting.

How We Work

First, we enlarge your artwork or logo to the right size and send it for your approval. Then we paint on site, often from a lift, building up the colors in layers. A large wall can take several days, but our hand-painted murals can last for years. Because every wall is different, each job is its own project.

Hand-Painted Murals on Historic Buildings

Some of our favorite work brings old buildings back to life. In Baltimore, our painting at Bond Street Wharf is one of the largest we’ve ever done. In fact, the Baltimore Museum of Industry now features it in an exhibit. Nearby in Fells Point, we recreated the look of the original painted wall on the E.J. Codd building.

Hand-Painted Murals for Stores and Restaurants

We’ve painted in Whole Foods Market stores across the region, including Annapolis, Short Pump, Virginia, and Pittsburgh. Restaurants love this work too. For example, we painted the brick walls at Parts and Labor in Baltimore and an Air Force scene for Mission BBQ in Dover, Delaware. In Annapolis, our steamed crab at Pit Boys grabs attention from the road.

Parking Garages and Directional Graphics

Hand-painted murals make even a parking garage look better. For instance, we added directional graphics at Annapolis Towne Center and animal silhouettes at Anne Arundel Medical Center. We also covered two sides of a building for Guardian Storage in Pittsburgh.
