Virginia is a state in the mid-Atlantic and southeastern United States, officially the Commonwealth of Virginia. Its capital is Richmond, and it stretches from the Chesapeake Bay and the Atlantic coast to the Blue Ridge Mountains. It is also home to the first permanent English settlement in America, Jamestown, which makes it one of the oldest and most historic places in the country.
Our Work Across the Potomac
The northern part of the state sits just across the Potomac River from Washington, DC, and many of its homes, offices, and communities are close neighbors to our work in the District. Designs & Signs works from Edgewater, Maryland, and we travel south for installations, from gold leaf on historic buildings to carved and sandblasted signs. Every sign is its own project, and a craftsman plans each one around the place it will stand.
