Gold leaf glass gilding in progress at The Mt. Washington Tavern

We completed the glass gilding at The Mt. Washington Tavern, a renovated restaurant in Mount Washington, just north of Baltimore. We apply 23 karat gold leaf to the glass by hand. Then we add a painted black outline and protective black backup paint. Designs & Signs in Edgewater, Maryland has created and installed many gold leaf signs in Baltimore, Washington, DC, and Annapolis. The finished glass gilding in Baltimore stands out, and it makes any logo look sharp.

We Offer Glass Gilding in Baltimore for Homeowners Too

We design and install gold leaf numbers for homeowners in Baltimore, Washington, DC, and Annapolis. If you have a historic home in the city, you probably have a glass transom above your front door. If so, you will want real gold leaf numbers rendered by hand. We use traditional techniques and 23 karat gold leaf. Here are a few of our residential gilding projects. Your front door is the first impression for your guests. As a result, gold leaf numbers help your friends find your house quickly. They will also appreciate the effort you put into decorating your door with traditional gold leaf numbers.
