This acrylic office sign greets clients at Anchored Hope Therapy. We built it in layers: a round panel of sandblasted cedar, with a clear, non-glare acrylic face floating in front of it on four stainless steel standoffs.

Acrylic office sign for Anchored Hope Therapy with a teal anchor and tree logo on stainless steel standoffs over round sandblasted cedar

How we built this acrylic office sign

The back of the sign is a cedar circle. We sandblasted it so the horizontal grain stands out, and that texture gives the whole piece its warmth. Next, we cut the acrylic face to match the circle. Because the acrylic is non-glare, the lettering stays easy to read under office lights. The standoffs hold the face away from the wood, so each letter casts a soft shadow on the grain behind it.

An anchor that grows into a tree

The Anchored Hope logo blends an anchor with a tree. Its branches and leaves grow out of the shank, which makes a simple, hopeful mark for a therapy practice. We cut the logo from teal Avery vinyl. Then we arched Anchored Hope across the top in black Avery vinyl capitals, with Therapy curving along the bottom. On a clear acrylic office sign, those two colors stand out against the cedar grain.

Why choose an acrylic office sign?

We make a lot of these layered signs for offices and lobbies. The natural wood feels inviting, while the clear face looks clean and modern, so the style suits almost any logo. We make every one to order in our shop in Edgewater, Maryland, sized for your wall and built around your logo.
