Tally-Ho Farm in Monkton, Maryland
These farm entrance signs hang at Tally-Ho Farm in Monkton, Maryland. We made them from 1.75-inch-thick vertical grain clear heart cedar, and sandblasting reveals the grain of the wood. We painted the fox by hand from a portrait the customer provided. All of the raised letters and borders show off our traditional 23 karat gold leaf.
The decorative hanging bracket and posts are stainless steel with a black powder coat finish, so they will hold up against the elements for many years. The sign is also secured so it does not sway in high winds.
Wooden Farm Entrance Signs
For a classic homestead look, we recommend our cedar signs. We can apply 23 karat gold leaf by hand, plus shading and outlining, to make your farm sign distinctive. We also paint each sign with Sherwin-Williams paint so it can endure the elements. With proper care, your sign will last for many years and give visitors the feeling of a farm run by real people.
