Stenciled Wooden Crate Signs for Whole Foods
Stenciled wooden crate signs give a store a rustic, old-fashioned look. We lettered these faux antique signs on wooden display bins at Whole Foods Market in Rockville, Maryland. Our shop is in Edgewater, Maryland, and we travel across the Mid-Atlantic for projects like this one.
We Stencil on Rough Surfaces
First, we apply a stencil to the surface of each bin. Next, we paint the exposed wood by hand in several careful coats. Finally, we remove the stencil, which leaves a clean faux antique painted sign behind.
This approach suits rough wood, where other lettering methods do not sit well. As a result, stenciled wooden crate signs keep the texture of the grain and still read clearly. Rustic signs like these also remind customers of the way things used to be.
Murals Welcome Guests Inside Stores
Across the Mid-Atlantic, we have also painted wall murals inside stores, shops, hospitals, and parking garages. A mural adds warmth and helps customers feel at ease. In a plain parking garage, for example, it brings color and direction to a cold space. In a grocery store, an image of fruits and vegetables can encourage shoppers to try something new.
A mural on the outside of a building helps people on the street see where you are and what you do. If you need a mural or stenciled wooden crate signs for your store, we would be glad to help.
