We Love the Flashy Name on This Skiff
Shady Lady is a wooden skiff, and her name is a real showstopper. We lettered both sides of the boat in 23 karat engine turn gold leaf film and gave it a premium Avery black vinyl outline. On a sunny day, the name looks fantastic.
Gold leaf is brilliant on its own, and the engine turn finish makes it even better. The pattern catches the sunlight and reflects it in every direction. As a result, your boat twinkles like a star on the water.
Other leaf films attract just as much attention. For example, one of our favorites is Florentine swirl gold or silver leaf. It dances in the sunlight and shimmers like moonlight on the water.
Go Big When Naming Your Boat
For a small runabout, this is a magnificent little ship, and she sure looks swell underway. So why not have the best name on the water? It doesn’t matter if your powerboat is smaller than others on the Chesapeake Bay. Don’t limit yourself when you name it. After all, a great boat name never gets old, and you and your friends will enjoy it for years to come.
A Gold Leaf Boat Name Looks Great
The Shady Lady lettering stands out because of the gold leaf and its heavy black outline, which makes the letters pop. The letters are 23 karat engine turn gold leaf film, and the outline is premium Avery black vinyl.
For boat lettering, we usually prefer genuine gold leaf film. However, traditional hand-applied gold leaf suits some wooden transoms. From our Edgewater, MD shop, we’ve designed and installed hundreds of custom boat names around Annapolis and the surrounding area. For more ideas, take a look at our other boat names.
