Window gilding is gold leaf on glass, and this example is at Jack Wills University Outfitters in Charlottesville, Virginia. Designs & Signs installs gold leaf throughout the Mid-Atlantic region, and we are experts at glass gilding. Contact us for a quick quote. Send us your logo and a photo of your window, and let us know how big the logo should be. In turn, a moderately sized logo will suffice for window gilding because gold leaf gets attention. It does not need to be overly big to attract customers from the street. With a great gold leaf logo, your business will stand out.
Window gilding that took three days
We completed this installation in three days. Gold leafing requires a lot of time and patience, so it is important to know the size of your logo. An appropriately sized logo can be installed within one day at an affordable price, because the cost of our installations is based on how many days a project takes. At the client’s request, we placed this logo low on the glass, and the installation proved far more difficult than we anticipated. Anyone walking down the street will notice the gold leaf. In this case, a higher position would have made rendering the logo much easier.
Additionally, we install gold leaf numbers on residential properties. Our work is on display around Annapolis, Baltimore, Northern Virginia, and Washington, DC. Our shop is in Edgewater, Maryland.
