Glass gilding / Gold leaf numbers on glass, rendered by hand. Black painted outline with black backup paint. Gilded inline on glass. This piece was donated by Designs & Signs, it is currenly on display at The Museum of the Gilding Arts in Pontiac, Illinois.

Transom numbers 902, made with 23 karat realgold film, cut and installed by Designs & Signs at a private home in Washington, DC. This is a more cost effective alternative to our traditional glass gilding. It looks good but it does not have the same exact mirror look of traditional gold leaf applied by hand.
