Carved teak signs for restrooms at Burr Yacht Sales in Edgewater, Maryland. Carved by hand and finished by hand with 23 karat gold leaf and painted outline. Varnish is used to protect the boards. PLEASE CLICK HERE to see more photos of our hand carved signs and sandblasting projects.
Gold leaf applied by hand, loose leaf around the letters will be knocked off with a soft brush. After the loose leaf has been removed the surface of the gold is polished with cotton. PLEASE CLICK HERE to see photos of the finished sign!
A carved teak board with 23 karat gold leaf finish and hand painted outline. The fleur de lis is also finished with 23 karat gold leaf by hand. The board is protected with multiple coats of varnish. With regular upkeep of the varnish, this board will last a lifetime.
