Faux antique signs installed at Whole Foods Market Rockville. First a high tack stencil is applied to the surface of these wood produce bins, then paint is applied carefully in multiple coats to the exposed wood surface with a small stipple brush. The stencil is then removed leaving behind a beautiful faux antique painted sign. Designs & Signs developed this application technique specifically for painted installations on rough wood surfaces. Designs & Signs has painted many similar faux antique signs for many Whole Foods Market locations throughout the mid-atlantic region. These rustic signs will always be popular as they remind us of days past.

Brendon Brandon paints beautiful faux antique signs by hand. These old fashioned signs aren’t really old, they just look like old signs! Some of the design elements are created by hand and scanned, creating a digital image which can be edited with Flexi-Sign Pro. Then a plotter is used to created a paper pattern. The pattern is then pounced onto the wood with charcoal before painting. Designs & Signs can create these original rustic signs to your personal specifications.
